Coaxial Cable
Coaxial Cable ( Coax) is the means by which all cell signal is moved from the exterior antenna, through
the amplifier and/or internal antenna, and on to the cellular device. This cable is very susceptable to signal loss
and must be matched with the distance between the two components. A 'high-loss' cable will be fine for very short distances...'ultra
low-loss' cables must be used where the run will be over 50 to 100 feet.

Coaxial Cable Connectors
Coax connectors and adapters are an important part of your hookup process. Many times you will need
an adapter to link the cable to an existing connector on an amplifier or antenna. Click on the picture at the right
to see a list of the most common connectors and adapters.

Signal Combiners and Splitters
Combining the cell signal from two single-band antennas for input to a dual-band amplifier requires a special
connection. Splitting the signal from the amplifier to multiple antennas or cell phones requires the same equipment.
The Splitter/Combiner is an invaluable tool.

Each installation is different and each requires a unique combination of components
to set the antenna in place. While OmniCell does not handle all of the hardware necessary for each type of installation,
we do show suggestions of what is available and can provide the most common solutions. Whether your solution involves
a marine, RV, or home roof, we can help you find the right components.
