In any emergency situation, communication is key.  What happens when landline telephones cannot be used?  When television is not available?  Even when our cell phone has no signal?

Overview...

Cellular phone service can be available when...
  • there is no longer an infrastructure to support landline telephone service
  • the intended use is to enable mobility, quick setup, and immediate response
  • equipment is available to collect a signal from distant cell tower
  • personal use, first responders, emergency workers will all benefit

In cases of wind, flood, or fire, having the ability to stay in touch is not always a matter of having a backup plan centered on the home or office.  The solution should be mobile.

If there is a cell phone available, that will resolve 50% of the problem.  But, in many situations, the distance to the nearest functioning tower is too far for the cellular handset to reach.  And, moving towards the cell tower is not always possible or practical.  With OmniCell, our products can bring the signal to you.

Mobility...

Various Emergency Vehicles can stay in touch with their dispatch without the problem of being on the wrong frequency.  But, what about the other providers that are not on that frequency?  What about the other providers that cannot communicate with one another?  What about the private individuals who must contact authorities, relief organizations, and loved ones.
  • Various services will be able to communicate with one another...again, no problem with frequency differences
  • First Responders can set up quickly and stay in touch
  • No waiting for landline installation

Fixed Location...

While all of our antenna/amplifier systems can be used in a fixed or mobile environment, some of the equipment has isolation requirements that cannot be met in certain situations.  Because they are installed on more of a "permanent" basis, we refer to them as fixed.

These systems can be installed in a home, office, condo, large yacht, or large RV.  They are ideal for the new, innovative mobile hospitals and surgical units that are part of our homeland security program.
