The Digital Antenna DA4000MR-10A is a dual-band mobile cellular repeater for the car, van,
SUV, or small RV. The top of the vehicle acts as a 'ground plane' helping the 4" magnetic mount antenna collect
the available cellular signal. This is a very powerful unit, but don't forget...you are mobile. If there is no
signal behind the mountain, there is nothing to amplify. Barring the negative effects of a rough terrain, this system
will provide excellent cellular coverage for up to 30 miles from the nearest cell tower.
The DA4000MR-10A is a very mobile version of the "30U". While the amplifier is the same, the exterior
antenna is a 4" magnetic mount antenna that provides less gain and requires less separation between antennas. Although
the gain of the antenna is lower than our other systems, the roof of the vehicle provides a ground plane and enhances the
signal collection.
This system requires a separation of only 5 feet between antennas. It does, however, require that
the vehicle roof remain between the antennas. There can be no "line of sight" between the antennas, nor can this
system be used with convertibles.
