Ericsson Wireless Cellular Terminals (FCT)
Ericsson has had tri-band terminals for a few years. Placing the 1900 MHz frequency with
its European standard 900/1800 MHz frequencies, the FCT would work as a truely international landline replacement.
During 2006, Ericsson announced their new 'G3' series of wireless terminals (3rd
Generation) that includes a 4th frequency...850 MHz. These new GSM-compatible wireless terminals will have models
available in both the US 850/1900 MHz frequencies as well as the European standard of 900/1800 MHz. With five models
to choose from (not all are available in the US), this series of fixed cellular terminals provides all of the necessary
functions to your wireless communications systems including the GPRS/EDGE data network.

G3x Series Fixed Cellular Terminals (FCT)
These wireless terminals provide cellular voice communication (all models) as well as analog Group 3 FAX,
data FAX, internet and E-Mail connection (via GPRS/EDGE), and will link to the PBX at your workplace.
These terminals provide an excellent means to expedite deployment of a phone line to your home
or office with high quality voice transmission. They may be also used as a phone line in the RV, Yacht, Condo,
Dorm Room, and construction trailer. Installation is quick and easy...no waiting for the infrastructure.

Ericsson has revolutionized the industry with its new '3rd Generation' terminal. This new
unit not only provides the latest and fastest data transmission available, but will allow simultaneous voice and data transmission,
analog FAX via IP, and automatic frequency detection. Especially useful when moving from one international location
to another, this unit will seamlessly switch from 800/1900 MHz to 900/1800 MHz.
