Ericsson G36 Voice/FAX Fixed Wireless Terminal
The Ericsson
GSM G35 (Voice/PBX) is an excellent way to add wireless connectivity to your office telephone system. This wireless
terminal is designed to provide a telephone line that behaves in the same manner as an analog trunk. It allows
you to reduce costs by taking advantage of 'mobile-to-mobile' calls rather than 'fixed-to-mobile' (Least
Cost Routing or LCR).
Although the terminal is compatible with
most analog PBX units, there are certain generic requirements that must be met for FWT connectivity...
- PBX must
provide analog trunks.
- One position of the trunk must be assigned to each FWT.
- The trunk card must support
either Busy Tone Detection (BTD) or Polarity Reversal Detection on answer and release.
